Members of Cooper Memorial Friends of the Library attended the recent South Lake Chamber of Commerce event in which the Friends of Cooper Memorial Library were awarded the 2009 Oakley Seaver Special Service Recognition. The volunteers of Friends helped to raise over $375,000 towards the construction of the new library, which is the largest in Lake County at 50,000 square feet.
